The Venus de Milo Restaurant is the largest family owned independent restaurant in the United States. It was constructed by the Ferris family in 1959 and has been family owned ever since. The Venus has 6 banquet rooms capable of seating up to 3,000 people and we have a restaurant offering daily fine dining capable of seating up to 500 people. Our banquet rooms specialize in weddings, testimonials, fashion shows, proms, company parties and similar. Our restaurant specializes in seafood and especially our renowned lobster dishes. We also have a full menu with delicious entrees featuring beef, chicken and pork. The Venus’ “Baked Stuffed Lobster” and “New England Clam Chowder” have brought us world acclaim and are mentioned in high praise by leading Chefs, Food Critics and in recipe books throughout the country.
